Flowers in Bloom

Karen was referred to me by one of my clients. She wanted to do a maternity shoot on a beach. I met Karen and her husband on the Malibu Pier. Karen's burgundy dress blend in well with blooming yellow flowers on the hill. We took some images on a pier and went underneath it. Sometimes I get lucky and some random people offer to hold a reflector, that time surprisingly I was approached by a woman who said she was a photographer hanging on the beach and she was willing to help. Needless to say she knew what she was doing and needed zero directions. It was a chilly evening and Karen didn't have any cover up so we quickly headed to a field with flowers to wrap our session.
