A Watermelon Birthday

A wonderful mama Christina had contacted me to create an alternative "cake smash" session. She had an idea of substituting cake with a watermelon. She also wanted to do some casual shots at a playground. We had to set up an early morning time and it paid off well. I couldn't get enough of the soft morning light and what a creative approach that mommy used. Baby Luca was all smiley. He just enjoyed the watermelon, his family around and didn't mind me taking his photographs.
